Strawberry Balsamic Brandy Short

An adult brandy cocktail with strawberries and a little balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

• 45 ml brandy
• 60 g strawberries, hulled
• 20 ml lemon juice
• 15 ml sugar syrup
• 0.5 tsp balsamic vinegar
• 150 g ice cubes

Method

1. Crush the strawberries with the lemon juice, syrup and vinegar in a shaker.
2. Add the brandy and ice, then shake thoroughly.
3. Strain through a fine sieve into a chilled short glass.

Use ordinary balsamic vinegar rather than a thick glaze.
