Ingredients: 50 ml brandy; 30 ml orange juice; 15 ml lemon juice; 10 ml maple syrup; 150 g ice; 1 strip orange peel

An adult brandy cocktail sweetened with maple syrup and balanced with orange and lemon.

Ingredients

50 ml brandy
30 ml orange juice
15 ml lemon juice
10 ml maple syrup
150 g ice
1 strip orange peel

Method

Combine the brandy, orange juice, lemon juice and maple syrup.
Shake with half the ice until chilled.
Strain into a short glass over the remaining ice and add the orange peel.

Freshly squeezed orange juice suits the maple flavour particularly well.
