Ingredients: 50 ml whisky; 20 g fig jam; 25 ml lemon juice; 10 ml sugar syrup; 150 g ice cubes

An adult whisky sour sweetened with fig preserve.

Ingredients

50 ml whisky
20 g fig jam
25 ml lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup
150 g ice cubes

Method

Stir the jam, lemon juice and syrup together in a shaker.
Add the whisky and ice, then shake vigorously.
Strain through a fine sieve into a chilled short glass.

A smooth fig jam is easier to mix than one with large fruit pieces.
